'Greening the Red Carpet: The RCGD Global Framework & Sustainable Style Guide' is a complimentary resource and interactive guide covering all aspects of sustainable styling, from exploring vintage pieces and opting for textiles derived from natural sources to supporting independent craftspeople and brands owned by people of color.
The looks
Suzy Amis Cameron conceived RCGD Global in 2009 during the press tour for her husband, James Cameron’s film ‘Avatar.’
RCGD Global aims to draw attention to the importance of more sustainable practices in the apparel and design world, and be part of bringing those solutions to the global market.
The organization partnered with The Academy to deliver sustainable looks on the red carpet at The Oscars and beyond, with Samata Pattinson as CEO.
